When we protect each other, everyone gets home safer.

Sip Safe is a nightlife safety campaign rooted in one core belief: when we protect each other, everyone gets home safer. Everything we do is built on impact, transparency, and real-world action.

This isn’t just a vibe check,
it’s a wake-up call!

Toronto’s nightlife is vibrant—but it’s not always safe. Drink tampering, sexual harassment, and blurred boundaries are still far too common. Most venues still don’t have the training, tools, or language to respond.

Five bars.
One night.
One mission.

On July 14, five of Toronto’s top bars will come together under one roof to mark the official launch of Sip Safe.

Hosted at No Vacancy, this one-night event brings the city’s hospitality leaders together for a collective demonstration of what safer nightlife can look like—when venues lead with intention.

This isn’t a one-night stand,
it’s a culture shift.

Sip Safe is a growing movement for long-term change.

Our goal?

Redefine what it means to go out and feel safe doing it.

Everything we do, from printed posters to partner activations, is tracked and shared. No fluff. Just impact.

Sip SafeCertified

A clear, visible way for guests to recognize which venues are actively committed to creating safer nights out. Just like a recognizable sticker (much like UberEats)on the door, this symbol shows a venue has taken real steps to foster a safety-first culture—from training to tools to team readiness. It’s not just policy—it’s a public commitment to people.

Workshops & Trainings

The first step in creating real change. These sessions are practical, not copy-paste—designed around how each venue actually operates. Staff leave better prepared to recognize risks, respond to incidents, and support their guests and each other.

Public Resources

Whether you’re a guest, staff member, or community advocate, safety shouldn’t be gatekept. We’re building out tools, tips, and educational materials anyone can access—to raise awareness, spark conversation, and support safer choices.
